Jen & Alex

Jen and Alex’s wedding day unfolded in the way you dream that wedding days would unfold. It flowed just as expected. The wedding party along with each and every detail was absolutely beautiful.

Castle Hill Cider had the most beautiful backdrop for Jen and Alex’s wedding ceremony. The four large trees created the most beautiful natural arch for them to be married under. We even were able to do their first look in the most perfect location that framed the entrance to the venue. I loved watching everyone trying to take a peek while they were sharing their personal vowels with each other. It was such a sweet moment and one I know they will never forget!

Jen early on expressed the importance of finding ways to include her father since he passed when she was younger. There were so many ways she was able to incorporate him into the details. They were such a perfect touch throughout the whole wedding day. There was a charm for her wedding bouquet, his handwriting on the bottom of her shoes, his guitar in the reception space and she had her two brothers walk her down the isle. My favorite though was when they played a song he wrote and sang during what would have been their father daughter dance. Jen took turns dancing with her two brothers and then her mom joined in and it was such a beautiful moment.

One of my favorite moments in the evening is when Jen and Alex joined their cocktail party by opening up the two large barn doors on the second floor of the venue and waving. It was such a fun way to start the evening and such fun moments to capture of them and their guests.

It was such a lovely day and evening and it was an absolute honor to witness and capture! I’m looking forward to all the weddings ahead in 2025.
