Shannon + Jack

This is hands down one of my favorite engagement sessions of all time! Shannon and Jacks session was so fun and light hearted! I’d say a good ninety percent of the time couples during their consultation call will express their concern for posing in front of the camera. I hear things like “We are awkward” or “I have no idea what to do” and “we will definitely need help with posing”.

I am always quick to reassure couples that it will be just fine! I love guiding couples through posing. This is why I include a complimentary engagement session in wedding packages. It helps to have “practice” in front of the camera, if you will. I always of course LOVE getting to meet each couple prior to the wedding as this helps everyone get to know each other and feel like we are friends before the wedding day. I will have to write a separate post on this one day. 🙂

I remember Shannon mentioning this in their initial call and I always giggle because you’d never think that these two aren’t photogenic by looking at their engagement photos. I mean seriously…they were incredible, so calm and natural in front of the camera! I truly can’t wait for their wedding day which will be here so soon. Meanwhile, these two have been having the best time living in Colorado getting to ski as much as they want…and yes, I am a little jealous about that.
