I had such a great time this past Sunday with Grace and Nick. We were able to do their engagements at Nick’s parents house where they will have their wedding reception in September. I was able to meet some of their family as well which was an added bonus. ๐
During the first conversation that Grace and I had she shared with me the story of her and Nick’s relationship. It’s such a sweet story and one that was perfectly orchestrated by the Lord so perfectly.
Grace saw Nick for the first time at a church service, to which I recall her saying saying something like “This is going to be trouble.” Unfortunately though that was Nick’s last Sunday at the church as he was moving to DC for a job opportunity.
Fast forward to years later. Grace is now working at a museum. There is a mother and daughter that come in and would like to see a particular artifact. While Grace is showing them the artifact the mom (who happens to be Nick’s grandma) is talking to Grace about her grandson that is single. She goes so far to show Grace a picture of him. At that point Grace didn’t realize just yet that the guy in the picture was Nick. Nick’s grandma was so persistent though, so much so that she would volunteer at the museum and talk to Grace about Nick.
I Know you’re catching on to the story by now. ๐ Eventually Nick and Grace meet again and here they are today. I’m so thankful to be a part of telling their story, to be able to see where their relationship grew to the point of engagement and soon to be marriage. It means so much to know their story, to have the opportunity to share it and more importantly to have the honor of getting to capture a part of it! Enjoy these sweet images!!
